The move is an effort to improve the city’s east-west connectivity and also allow direct access from residential suburbs to major business and IT hubs. The move is part of the state-owned road transport company’s ongoing efforts to identify unconnected neighborhoods.
According to TGSRTC Hyderabad Region Manager Sudha Parimala, the new routes are designed to reduce travel time and improve last-mile connectivity. They will also provide reliable public transport for the daily commute around the city.
The new routes include route 156/316 which will operate between LB Nagar and Gachibowli via Dilsukhnagar Koti, Mehdipatnam, Langar Houz, Narsingi Crossroads, Kokapet Grossroads, GAR, Infosys and IIIT. It will connect Hayathnagar with Gachibowli and pass through LB Nagar, Champapet, Bandlaguda, Aramghar, Hyderguda, Langar Houz, Narsingi Crossroads, Kokapet Crossroads, GAR, Inforsys and IIIT. This route is aimed at providing a direct and seamless connection from the eastern suburbs to the city’s IT and commercial areas.
Similarly, 316 K will connect Aramghar to Gachibowli. The buses will pass through Dairy Farm, Hyderguda, Langar Houz, Bapughat, Suncity, TSPA Junction, Kokapet Crossroads and Nanakramguda Crossroads.
