Subselect with Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGPSPSPDCL) was imprisoned by Corruption (ACB) officials, while on Friday it reportedly received a bribe of 15,000 GBP in Secunderabad.
The defendant clerk, identified as Bhoomireddy Sudhakar Reddy, a sub-engineer who is entrusted with the Lalaguda section, Padmarao Nagar Sub-Division TGPSPDCL, was arrested by the ACB unit when he demanded and accepted the bribery in front of the plaintiff.
The bribe was required after processing the complainant set to upgrade from single -phase meters to three -phase meters and for preparing an estimating copy for erecting the transformer 63 KVA at a place associated with the complainant’s electrical work.
The amount of the bribe was restored from him and was arrested and sent to judicial link. The case is subject to investigation.
ACB urged citizens to report any demand for bribes by civil servants via the free number 1064 or via WhatsApp (9440446106), Facebook or X. The Office assured the complainants’ identity.
