The ACB (ACB) on Thursday (September 25, 2025) arrested engineer of the TELANGANA State Education and Welfastructure Development Corporation (TGEWIDC) in the Yangaon district for receiving a bribe of 8,000 ₹.
The accused clerk, identified as Samala Ramesh, an engineer working on a place working on the basis of outsourcing in the Yangaon sub-division, was imprisoned in his ACB Warangal Unit, while accepting a bribe of 8,000 GBP. The investigation revealed that it previously demanded a total of 18,000 GBP for processing and passing the final law related to the construction of a scientific laboratory within the grant system PM Shri in ZPHS in Kodakandle. Ramesh has already received 10,000 GBP as the first installment through an online transfer and insisted on a balance of 8,000 GBP, which was handed over to him on Thursday.
The amount was obtained from its ownership. He was arrested and made before a special court for SPE and ACB cases in Warangal. Another investigation is underway. ACB urged the public to report cases of bribery by contacting its free number 1064 or addressing through official social media platforms, ensuring that the identity of the victims and complainants would be maintained.
