The Cyber Security Authority (TGCSB) and Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad, signed a memorandum of understanding (MO) on Wednesday.
Cooperation seeks to merge legal education, research on politics and forensic skills with TGCSB operational expertise and create a multidisciplinary framework for computer crime solving. It outlines my joint efforts to review and strengthen existing cyber laws, including the 2000 Information Technology Act, and offer proposals for policy regarding recovery, privacy, financial fraud and digital evidence.
The agreement was signed by the director of TGCSB Shikha Goel and Vice -Chairman Nalsar Srikrishna Deva Rao in the presence of the General Director of the Telangana Police Jitender.
Both institutions will cooperate on offering legal and forensic support in computer crime investigation, developing restantic mechanisms focused on victims, creating digital dispute solutions and creating a reserved legal and forensic advisory unit within the TGCSB. Specialized training modules will also be designed for police officers and court officers.
DGP emphasized the importance of mixing policy with local level promotion and stated that the partnership will improve sharing knowledge between the police and the academy. Mr.rao described cooperation as a service of a company focused on computer crime through structured consciousness, education and possible policy reforms. Shikha Goel described the memorandum as a “model for the nation” and emphasized the urgency of developing legal systems and forensic tools to keep up with the emerging digital threats.
