Industries and Commerce Minister TG Bharath Gupta has urged Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy to seek help from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for Gayatri Goshala, the state’s largest cow shelter, in Kurnool.

Accompanied by members of the Gayatri Goshala Committee, Mr. Bharath met Mr. Ramanaraya Reddy at the State Secretariat in Amaravati. He told the Endowment Minister that the Goshala on the outskirts of Kurnool kept more than 1,200 cows.

“This facility is the largest cow shelter in the state. With the support of donors, we are moving forward to ensure provision of cow fodder,” Mr. Bharath said and asked the minister to seek help from TTD.

He requested that a temple of Lord Venkateswara be constructed in the Goshala premises under TTD and sought help in developing a shed on land belonging to the endowments department in Kurnool.

Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy, who recently visited Goshala, responded favorably to the proposals. Gayatri Goshala President Jagadeesh Gupta and committee members were present.
