
A 45 -year -old social activist was injured after he was shot by suspects of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s district of Kupwara, the officials said on Sunday, PTI reported.
“Terrorists fired at Ghulam Rasool Magray inside his residence in Kandi Khas late on Saturday,” the officials said.

Magray was rushed to the hospital, said and added that it was not immediately clear why Ultras targeted a social activist.
Meeting in Jammu and Kashmir
Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the authorities in Kashmir launched extensive interventions against terrorists and their sympathizers, demolished houses, attacked shelters and detained hundreds of above -ground workers for questioning, officials said on Saturday.
Over the last 48 hours, six terrorists or their collaborators have been demolished, and officials warned that a similar event would follow against others associated with militant activities, as PTI states.

According to officials, demolished houses belonged to well -known militants and their collaborators, including Ahsan Ul Haq of Pulwama, who trained in Pakistan in 2018 and recently infiltrated into the valley; Shahid Ahmad Kuttay, commander Lashkar-E-Taiba (years) from Shopian involved in the years against national activities; and Zakir Ahmad Ganie of Kulgam, under supervision since 2023 for alleged terrorist connection.
The fourth house in the Kalaroos Buywwar area was fired by the security forces and belonged to the Farooq Ahmad Tedwa and the Pasteen Ahmad Tedwa, both currently working from Pakistan, added officials.
The Pakistani army was included in high readiness after India promised to promote and remove those who are responsible for the terrorist attack Pahalgam.
