“They planned honeymoon in Europe, but it was canceled because of visa problems. Instead, they went to Jammu and Kashmir on April and stayed at the hotel in Pahalgam on April 22.
Narwal was a native of Haryana and was sent in Kochi. April 16 got married.
“He was just married only a few days ago; four days ago it was his reception and here was a celebration. Today we learned that the terrorists killed him,” Vinay Narwal PTI quoted.
Defense officials confirmed that the officer traveled to Kashmir for a short holiday after his marriage 16 April. His wedding reception took place on April 19.
After a fatal attack, a video appeared on the social media that shows that Himanshi says, “I ate Bhel Puri with my husband when a man came and said he wasn’t a Muslim, and then shot him.”
Narwal joined the Navy two years ago and was sent in Kochi. His death sent shock waves through his family, community and defensive facility.
