Kashmir authorities launched a massive intervention against terrorists and their sympathizers as a result of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, demolished ultrasound houses, attacked safe paradise and detained hundreds of above -ground workers for interrogation, officials said on Saturday (April 26, 2025).
Security forces follow well -known terrorist co -workers and their sympathizers along the entire length and width of the valley to create a deterrent against any Pahalgam attacks, the officials said. On Tuesday, terrorists started fire in Baisaran, a popular tourist place within the upper reach of Pahalgam in the anantnag district, killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

The houses of five terrorists or their collaborators have been demolished in the last 48 hours, stating that similar steps will be taken against other terrorist activities.
The mysterious explosions were thrown out by the houses of two active terrorists – Aadil Thoker in the Bijbehara region in the Anantnag and Asif Sheikh district in the track in the Pulwama district.
While Thoker was appointed one of the three terrorists involved in the terrible killing of tourists in Pahalgam, Sheikhovo involved in the attack was also not excluded, the officials said.
The explosions took place after the security forces attacked the houses on Thursday evening, they added.
Security forces have also rounded hundreds of above -ground workers (OWG) and their supporters – mostly in four districts of South Kashmir – in their efforts to trace terrorists who carried out the attack on Tuesday.
One alleged OWG was killed in the terrorist fire during one such operation in the Bandipor district on Friday, the officials said.
Altaf Lalli was killed when the security forces took him to a terrorist hiding area in the Kulnar area in the Bandipora district after pointing out the placement of Ultras.
Two police officers were also injured when shooting a terrorist who managed to escape, the officials said.
On Saturday, the event moved to Srinagar, where the raids were carried out on more than a dozen of places, including Safakadal, Soura, Pandach Bemin, Shaveng, Lal Bazaar and Zadibal.
In the anantnag district, search operations are performed continuously because the security forces increase vigilance.
Inspection of mobile vehicles have been established throughout the districts to monitor any suspicious movement, the officials said.
