Akasa Air to release a replacement
In addition to Air India Express Akasa Air, it announced that it will provide refunds canceled between 23 April 2025 and 29 April 2025.
“Akasa Air has undertook to provide increased flexibility through changes and cancellation of fees for all flights to AZ Srinagar,” wrote Akasa Air on X.

Air India gives up for cancellation fees
Previously, Air India announced that it will operate two more years and give up on and from Srinagar.
“With regard to the prevailing situation, Air India will operate two more years from Srinagar to Delhi and Bombai on Wednesday 23rd April,” wrote Air India on X.
Both flights will work from Srinagar to Delhi at 11:30 and Srinagar to Bombai at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
“All our further flights to and from Srinagar will continue to operate according to the schedule. Air India also offers free overpowers and full compensation for cancellations with confirmed reservations up to April 30, 2025 in these sectors,” added Air India.
Terrorist attack Pahalgam
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at least 26 were killed after the terrorists had shot tourists in Kashmmo Pahalgam. The attack occurred in Baisaran, also known as “Mini Switzerland”. Among the deceased were two foreigners, one entrepreneur from Karnataka and two locals.
