Russia on Monday accused Kiev of firing drones at Vladimir Putin’s residence between Moscow and St. Petersburg and said it was “reviewing” its negotiating position on ending the war in Ukraine after the “terrorist attack”.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a statement that Ukraine had fired 91 drones at Putin’s “official residence” in the Novgorod region overnight, adding that all were destroyed by air defenses, AFP reported.
Lavrov announced that Russia had selected targets in Ukraine for “retaliatory strikes” and that “Moscow’s negotiating position will be revised.”
