Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav announced that the state special operational cell (SSOC), Mohali, revealed a terrorist spy network associated with YouTuber JAMBIR SINGH, resident of the village of Mahlan in Rupnagar. DGP Yadav said that JASBIR SINGH, who operated the YouTube channel “Jaan Mahal”, was in contact with YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra based in Haryana, arrested for espionage fees. He also maintained contact with the excluded Pakistani official High Commission Ehsan-Ur-Rahim aka Danish.
Pandjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said: “Mohali appeared a state special operation that discovered a critical spy network associated with Jazbir Singh, the inhabitant of Mahlan, Rupnagar.
“He also maintained close contact with YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra based in Haryana (arrested for espionage) and Ehsan-Ur-Rahim aka Danish, Pakistani national and excluded official High Commission.
Jason Singh also traveled to Pakistan in 2020, 2021 and 2024. After the arrest of Jyoti Malhotra, Punjabi YouTuber tried to erase the traces of his connections with Pakistani to avoid detection. Pandjab DGP said it was registered with companies and investigations.
“He traveled to Pakistan three times (2020, 2021, 2024) and his electronic devices contained several Pakistani numbers, now under a detailed forensic inspection. After the arrest of Jyoti Malhotra, JASBIR tried to erase all traces of his communication with these PIOS to avoid detection.”
“The company has been registered at SSOC, Mohali. There is an investigation to dismantle a wider network of spy terror and identify all collaborators,” he said.
