In Tirupati there was a tangible tension from the first hours on Thursday, while the police placed former chairman of TTD and former MLA Bhuman Karunakar Reddy for home arrest.
The home arrest followed the admission of Mr. Reddy’s challenge, triggered by State President TDP Palla Srinivas to visit the Milky Farm, Sri Venkateswara Gosamshanasal to prove her accusations.
Reddy previously raised serious accusations of reported deaths of more than 100 cows on the dairy farm due to the “negligence” of officials and employees, causing a stir in TTD circles.
After TTD officially refuted the accusations, the leaders of NDA made sense to organize press conferences throughout the state to condemn the statement of Mr. Reddy and accuse him of deliberate defamation of the institution.
Mr. Reddy promised to prove his opinion and accepted the challenge of TDP. When TDP wrote on his wall, which dared him to show himself in Goshale and witness the state of things, Mr. Reddy replied: “She accepted the challenge, see you at 10 am.”
However, the police threw themselves at Padmavathipuram and laid Mr. Reddy in a house arrest before he could visit the Milk Farm.
Meanwhile, the leaders of NDA addressed the media on the dairy farm and resumed their appeal against politicians against the use of TTD for their political profit.
