
In the case of children’s abuse, a ten -year -old tribal girl was marked with a metal ladle with a red hota to allegedly stole a mobile phone in Kuditipal Kakarladibba in the district of PETA Mandal in the SPSR Nellore district.
The incident occurred on the night of 21 June (Saturday) and came to light on Sunday afternoon after the police arrived in the village after receiving information from the local residents. They admitted a girl with severe burns to the government hospital indupete. Later, on the advice of Kovur MLA Vemirreddy Prashanthi Reddy, she was moved to the Apollo in Nellore hospital for better treatment. Her condition is said to be stable.
According to the police, her parents left her care for her aunt Manicala Mannari and went to the Tirupati district to work like everyday workers sometime before. About two months, however, Mrs. Manicala cursed the minor in some problem and sent her from home. Neighbors of the Bandi Srinivasulu and Charumudamma, who live in the opposite house, gave her a shelter.
On Saturday evening her aunt accused a girl of theft of a mobile phone belonging to their neighbor Chelamcherl Nagaraju and Subbamma based on the words of the local “Soothsayer”. Later manichala, Nagaraju and Subbamma strictly defeated the girl. She was forced to admit theft and then repeatedly marked with a hot laach. The extent of her injuries was shocked by the local community.

They arrested all the accused, except for the manichal because she was asked to take care of the child until her parents arrive. The measures will then be taken. Srinivasulu and Chamudamma were named as accusations because they were found to be a participation in the torture of the girl.
The incident triggered outrage throughout the region, with challenges to strict action against the accused. MLA Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy seriously marked the incident and urged the authorities to take strict steps against those who are responsible for him.
The MLA recommended continuous monitoring of the victim’s health and assured that all necessary measures would be taken to support its recovery.
