Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha on Tuesday presented appointment letters to 866 newly inducted doctors at a function organized at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, on the occasion of World Health Day.
692 civil surgeon assistants (specialists) and 174 specialist assistants were appointed. The minister administered an oath to the inducted doctors and urged them to uphold ethical standards, provide compassionate patient care and remain committed to their professional responsibilities.
