The maximum temperatures in Telangana crossed 44°C in the third week of April and approaching 45 °C. The heat has prompted the state government to take measures to prevent heat stroke. The Ministry of Health has issued advice on the measures to be taken during the heat wave. Revenue (Disaster Management) has released a report on a number of steps to be taken by the Collectors and other departments to protect people from the hot weather.
Marginal drop in temperatures can be observed in the fourth week because the Indian Meteorological Department-Hyderabad Center forecast thunderstorms in different parts of the state until Saturday.
