Intense heatwave-like conditions continued to plague Telangana with all 33 districts in the state recording maximum temperatures above 40°C on Tuesday (April 14, 2026). A total of five localities crossed the 43°C mark, with most districts reporting temperatures in the range of 42°C to 43°C. Hyderabad recorded the lowest maximum temperature in the state at 40.9 °C, according to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) data
Adavi Devula Palli in Nalgonda district emerged as the hottest spot with a maximum temperature of 43.5°C. It was followed by 43.4°C in Korutla (Jagtial), 43.3°C in Dasturabad (Nirmal) and Bheemgal (Nizamabad) and 43.2°C in Bela (Adilabad).
