
In the shocking incident of medical negligence, the woman lost her unborn twins because of the allegedly procedure for delivery.
The incident occurred on Sunday in the Rangareddy district in Telangana.
A woman, identified as 26 -year -old butti Keerthi, resident Elimined Village in Rangareddy, created twins after seven years of marriage.
Five months back, she conceived in vitro insemination (IVF) and was in the care of Dr. Anusha Reddy.
According to the Times of India, Butti Keerthi lost her unborn twins after her sisters filed her injecting her doctor during a video call.
On the morning of May 4, Keerthi experienced unbearable pain and was hurried to the Vijaya Laxmi hospital in Ibrahimpathnam in the district.
Dr. Anusha Reddy, who was not present at the moment, decided to handle a woman on the phone after being informed by the hospital staff.
The doctor ordered the sisters to give an injection to check Keerthi’s pain.
Unfortunately, the injection could not control the pain and also burst her stitches.
Butti Keerthi’s suffering
“I had pain in my stomach. They asked me to take an injection on the phone. I was afraid, so we came to the hospital within half an hour. The doctor advised the nurses on the phone and they started treatment for her instructions. The nurse checked me.
B Venkateswar Rao, a district medical and medical clerk for the Rangareddy district, said that Keerthi is safe and “was a very unprofessional doctor to have a difficult procedure. We are thorough investigations and present our report to the police and higher authorities,”
A private hospital was registered for medical negligence.
“We registered the case according to Section 106 (1), we read with Section 3 (5) (5) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit, which concerns medical negligence. According to the TOI report, we are starting an event based on the report of the district medical and medical officer (DMHO).”
Officials of the Ministry of Health also sealed the hospital.
