The 27-year-old man was arrested in the Telangana district of Medchal-Malkajgiri for allegedly murdering his pregnant wife, hit his body for several pieces, and threw them into the river Musi in Prathapsingarm. His wife -headless hull was recovered from his room.
The accused was identified as a self -made Maher Reddy as a rider for a taxi for a bike and lives in East Balary Hills in Boduppal and comes from Vicrabad. His wife was identified as B Swathi, 21.
Samala married a 21-year-old Swathim-Sousedo from the same village-January 2024 at Samaj Arya in Kukatpally and the duo moved to Hyderabad and lived in Boduppal after marriage, DCP Malkajgiri, PV Padmaja.

Months after the wedding, Swathi filed a complaint with WPS Vicrabad and a case was registered according to section 498-A IPC and Section 4 of the Act on the Prohibition of the Other. Subsequently, the older villages held Panchayats and the matter was threatened.
Since June 2024, the couple began to stay in a rented house in Boduppal. During this time, Swathi began working at the Punjagutta call center.
