The state government’s Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document won praise from the visiting delegation of the German Parliament for the clarity with which it outlined the goals across all sectors.
The document reflects the state’s strong commitment to progress, German lawmakers said, congratulating the TG government. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu’s office said this on Friday after he met the delegation along with IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu.
The German lawmakers sought to highlight the potential for cooperation between Germany and Telangana in the areas of cyber security and skilled workforce development.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Germany and India enjoy a long-standing friendship and expressed hope that the relationship would strengthen in the coming days. Telangana is ready to cooperate with Germany in IT, defense and pharmaceutical sectors. The state government would provide full support if Germany invested in these areas.
He also said that Telangana is interested in sending skilled human resources to Germany and is interested in working together in reputed German metallurgical and automobile industries.
A German language department could be set up in the Skill University being built in Bharat Future City to enable Telangana students to learn the language and seek job opportunities in Germany, he said.
Mr. Sridhar Babu highlighted the Telangana Government’s cyber security measures. The delegation consisted of MPs Josef Oster; Daniel Kolbl; Tijen Ataoglu; Bernd Baumann; Dr. Lars Castellucci; Lamya Kaddor; and Clara Bunger; and Christina Ziegenhorn from the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Committee for Internal Affairs of the German Bundestag.
