Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) claimed that the government of telangany offended women by making them wash the legs of the Miss World 2025 contestants.
In the letter of the leader of the Sonia Gandhi Congress with the female leader BRS, including Sabith Indra Reddy, Sunit Laxma Reddy and Kova Laxmi, Mla and former Minister Soyavathi Rattod, asked if the Congress party would continue to support the main minister.
In her call for Mrs. Gandhi, they remembered her vision of the Thelangana formation that the state would stand as a lighthouse of self -esteem, and reminded her that CM A. Revant Reddy and Congress would give an unconditional apology.
The BRS leaders also described the incident of the shameful betrayal of Telangan’s pride and identity. It reduced the pride of Dalit and the tribal women, and also undermined the victims made to fight Telangan. They also said that the Congress government revealed its servile thinking.
BRS also argued that atrocities against women were a model of disrespect in Telangana and remembered incidents such as the treatment of ASHA staff demanding promised benefits and disgusting comments against Mrs. Indra Reddy in the assembly.
