
The constable from the TELANGANA police won a medal for bravery, while 13 other officers from the state were recognized as a significant and merit service on the occasion of Independence Day.
The Police Constable Katravath Raju Naik was awarded a medal for bravery for his exemplary courage in the line of duty.
January 5, 2023 was a Naik who was working with the Jagadgirigutta police of Commissioner Cyberabad, part of a team looking for a murder accused of Sikh Colony, Yeellammabanda.
During the operation, the suspect, 19 -year -old Sardar Chamkorthi alias Karan Singh, Naik and another constable knife, caused injury to bleeding. The wounded constraints were immediately moved to the hospital while Singh was taken into custody. In February 2025, the accused was sentenced and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Mr. Naik is currently working with the Cyberabad Special Operation Team (SOT) team.
