
The prohibition and excise duty department announced the launch of its new MicroBrewery-25 policy and paved the way for the establishment of new microbreweries.
This initiative is expected to provide organizations for the license and establishment of units in the Core Urban Region Telangana (TCUR) and six municipal corporations – Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad and Warangal.
As part of this policy, applications will be accepted from 3 to 25 September with a 1 lakh 1 fee (specified for each application). A minimum of 1,000 square feet of space will be required for the establishment of a microbrewery and only those applicants holding a certificate of permit from the relevant departments.
In the Medchal district, applications may be submitted by the Office of the Prohibition and Commissioner for Exclusions, which covers municipal corporations in Boduppal, Jawaharnagar, Peerzadiguda, Nizampet, Rangar, Badangpet, Bandlaguda Jagir and Meerpet, except those under those under those under those below those under those under those under those under those under those under those below those Under those below those under those under those under those under those that are in a larger Hyderabad Corporation). Applications in the other six municipal corporations will have to be submitted at the offices of the relevant consumer tax representatives.
Officials stated that as soon as microbreweries are allowed, they will be allowed in barch, elite barch, clubs, hotels, restaurants, travel sites and eating facilities. The aim of this policy is to provide beer lovers access to freshly brewed beer in several places and to remove the need to rely solely on alcohol stores.
This will allow customers to order freshly brewed beer together with meals in hotels and restaurants. People in the GHMC areas are already allowed to consume micro -brewing beer in selected barch and are expected to expand this experience across wider city and travel centers.
