The 29 -year -old man from the Mahbubnagar district in Telangana was reportedly shot by the police in Santa Clař, California after Sarlia with his roommates, his family members said on Thursday (September 18, 2025).
The deceased, Mohammed Nizamuddin, moved to the United States to chase his master’s degree and lived in Santa Clara since 2016. According to his father Mohammed Hasnuddin, he was shot on Thursday (September 18, 2025) that Santa Clara’s police were shot by Santa Clar’s police and Santa Clar’s police were currently in a city hospital.
“I do not know the real reasons why the police shot him dead,” Mr. Hasnuddin said in a letter addressed to the Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankara dated 18 September. In his appeal, he asked the Minister to order India in Washington and the General Consulate in India, San Francisco, to touch the circumstances of death to return to his son to return to Mashbubnagar.
Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) spokesman AMJEJ Khan shared a father’s letter on X and urged the Minister of External Affairs to intervene and expand all the possible assistance to the mourning family.
