Telangana recorded the highest temperatures of the year on Monday (April 27, 2026) with several districts reeling under intense heat conditions. Temperatures exceeded 45℃ and reached 46℃ for the first time this summer. A total of 12 districts recorded maximum temperatures between 45℃ and 46℃, according to the Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather report. In the state capital, Charminar, the region recorded a maximum temperature of 42.5℃.
Mendora in Nizamabad district emerged as the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 46℃. It was followed by 45.9℃ in Bela (Adilabad), Nirmal Rural (Nirmal), Manthani (Peddapalli), 45.8℃ in Dharmapuri (Jagtial), Bichkunda (Kamareddy), Asifabad (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad), Bheemaram (Mancherial6℃), Chiemaram℃rum, 45. Damaracherla (Nalgonda), 45.2℃ in Rudrangi (Rajanna Sircilla) and 45.2℃ in Akkannapet (Siddipet).
