In response to the Hindu report called “IMA calls state rural health care unsustainable”, published on 8 October, director of Telangana for Public Health (VAT), stated that the state currently operates 638 primary health centers (PHC) across Telangana.
“The state government is constantly upgrading the facility to provide continuous services, including supplies, operations and emergency care, which ensures that rural populations receive comprehensive health services near their housing,” the statement said.
A total of 1,238 civil assistant surgeons, of which 1,104 are currently filled in, were sanctioned under the control of the Public Health and Family Care, of which. The remaining 134 vacancies were designed for direct recruitment through the Council for Recruitment of Medical and Health Services to meet the growing requirements for health care in rural areas.
