Following a fatal accident that claimed six lives on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and complaints of prolonged traffic standstill during the movement of convoys, Telangana Director General of Police CV Anand on Saturday directed traffic police officials to ensure efficient traffic management without causing inconvenience to motorists.
The DGP held a review meeting at his office with Joint Commissioners of Police (Traffic) and Deputy Commissioners of Police (Traffic) within GHMC limits. On May 1, six people died near Shamshabad (Exit 16) when an express car rammed into a parked truck, while on May 2, a car overturned near Tukkugud (Exit 14) and five others were injured.
