Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy on Tuesday received Mexican officials who arrived at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi as part of the Indian International Conference on Democracy and Electoral Management (IICDEM-2026).
The Mexican delegation included the head of the Mexican unit for international affairs, Marisa Arlene Cabral Porchas, and electoral councilor Norma Irene De la Cruz Magaña. Organized by the Election Commission of India (ECI) through the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), the three-day conference is being held from January 21 to 23.
The program includes 36 thematic working groups led by state and territory election officials, participation by scholars from IITs, IIMs, NLUs and IIMCs, and more than 40 bilateral meetings with global election governing bodies.
Additional CEO of Telangana Vasan Venkateshwar Reddy and special representatives of collectors of Chennaiah and Prasuna were present at the reception.
