In a large administrative reform to improve the management and speed of policy, the main Minister A. Revanth Reddy has decided that the TELANGANA cabinet will convene twice a month for the future.
The cabinet meeting will now be held every 15 days, specifically the first and third Saturday of each month. The main minister ordered officials to take the necessary measures to ensure regular and structured cabinet meetings, allowing continuous monitoring and timely decision -making on key issues.
The main minister’s office calls this a “progressive step” that would ensure greater responsibility, transparency and efficiency in the functioning of the state government.
This means a clear departure from the earlier practice of organizing cabinet meetings every two to three months. “To avoid the delay in deciding on critical policy and ensure the dynamic administration of public affairs, the main minister introduced a schedule of two months,” the official said.
The main minister is of the opinion that frequent cabinet meetings would allow ministers to participate in ongoing reviews and perform the necessary repairs and real -time interventions. The decision also reflects the focus of the government on the evaluation of social systems at the terrain level and development projects.
Since the Government led by Congress has taken over the office, 17 cabinet meetings have been carried out. Officials noted that the new schedule would also help to align government machines with developing needs of various industries, including agriculture, health, education and infrastructure.
