The Minister of Water Resources and Civil Sources TELANGANY N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday marked the first shipment of 12,000 metric tons of rice balanced to the Philippines from the port of Kakinada Anchorage.
Telangana’s government signed an agreement with the Philippines to export one lakh ton of rice grown in Telangana within the government to agree on the government. Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation will acquire Paddy and export rice in the state.
During the ceremony, a delegation of the Philippines was also present. “Today, the historical entry of Telangana means the global rice market,” said Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
