
“A student of class VIII and her two men’s friends were arrested on Friday (May 16, 2025) in the Gajapati district in Odish for the alleged murder of a woman who adopted him after saving her from the road when she was only three days,” the policeman said.
According to the police, the girl and her friends struck a woman-identified as 54-year-old Rajalaxmi Kar-in her rented house in Parakhemundi on April 29. The motif was reportedly its opposition to a girl’s relationship with two young men and gained control of her property.

“As soon as she was unconscious, she summoned her two friends who struck the woman pillows. Later they took her to the hospital where she was declared dead,” the police added.
Before the murder, a girl gave some of Rajalaxmi’s gold decorations Rath, who stopped them in a private financial company for approximately 2.4 Lakh. Reportedly used money to buy a motorcycle and travel throughout the state.
“During the police investigation, she restored three mobile phones containing chat messages, two pillows used in the murder and about 30 g of lift gold ornaments,” the police added.
