World Cup T20: India humbled Pakistan again
England and West Indies have qualified from Group C, while New Zealand and South Africa are the representatives of Group D.This leaves Pakistan in a must win situation against Namibia. Victory will send Pakistan through to complete the Super 8 line-up. Any other result will confirm their elimination. However, there are other variations. If Pakistan loses, the United States national cricket team qualifies. The Dutch national cricket team also remain mathematically in contention – but only if they beat India by a wide margin. The challenge for the Netherlands is their net run rate of -1.352 compared to the USA’s healthy +0.787, so qualification is highly unlikely unless there is a dramatic swing in results and NRR.

- India (Group A)
- Sri Lanka (Group B)
- Zimbabwe (Group B)
- England (Group C)
- West Indies (Group C)

One place left: Pakistan (if they beat Namibia). If Pakistan loses: USA qualifies.Netherlands need a huge win over India to stay in contention (NRR factor).
