Mr. Chandramohan Reddy attended as the chief guest and formally inaugurated a number of facilities at Ramakotaiah Nagar, which falls under Mr. Sridhar Reddy’s Nellore Rural constituency, on Sunday.
The two lawmakers spoke of the need to avoid post-election political rivalry and join hands, even with arch-rivals, to move the state forward in terms of development.
“When there are no elections, I am ready to keep politics aside and work for the overall development of my constituency. I urge my political rivals to join hands in this effort,” said Sridhar Reddy.
Hailing his proactive initiative, Mr. Chandramohan Reddy also pointed out the need to bring all sections of the society together. He appreciated the Nellore Rural MLA for bringing development projects worth several crores of rupees, especially three-phase electricity, roads, sewerage and flyovers, to his constituency.
