TDP Official Spokesperson and State Biodiversity Board Chairman N. Vijay Kumar said that YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s downplaying of Tirumala laddu adulteration and Parakamani theft issues and his comments on the same are highly problematic.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy has hurt the sentiments of Hindus, said Mr. Vijay Kumar, wondering how the alleged adulteration of ghee used to make prasadam laddu and the alleged theft of ₹11 lakh from Parakamani TTD during the YSRCP tenure seem insignificant to the former chief minister.
Speaking to the media at the TDP headquarters near Mangalagiri on Friday, Mr. Vijay Kumar told the media that gifting of gifts/property worth ₹14 crore TTD to the main accused in the Parakamani theft case was clearly a suspicious act that needed to be thoroughly investigated and questioned whether Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy expected the case to be closed with huge financial sums and money.
