In a statement shared on her official website on Friday, the singer wrote: “The whole music I have ever created belongs.” She added, “The best things that have ever been mine … finally they are.”
Swift revealed that she bought rights to her original recordings from private Shamrock Capital, the last owner of her early catalog. The exact purchase price was not published.
Her early albums were originally released through Big Machine Records. The ownership of these recordings has changed their hands several times, including the controversial sale of the music manager of Braun, which raised public disputes and led to the Swift decision to re -record its first six albums.
Since 2021, Swift has released four “Taylor version”: “Fearless”, “Red”, “Speak Now” and “1989”. Each of them was a huge success, complemented by graphs and re -connecting fans with reimaginated versions of her earlier hits. This recording also included new songs “from the safe” and other content that added depth by its original release.
