Taxi driver receives CMRF aid for cancer treatment

Concert worker Kondal Reddy, who was diagnosed with cancer, has been given financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).

Labor Minister Dr G Vivek Venkataswamy handed over a check for ₹2,77,500 to Mr Reddy. Mr. Reddy had been working as a taxi driver for the past nine years and was unable to work due to ill health. His family faced severe financial difficulties as he was the sole breadwinner and has two school-going daughters.

Reacting to the development, the Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Union thanked both Dr. Venkataswamy as well as Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
