Tanstrive price, dosage: Eli Lilly launches cancer drug in India at ₹ 2.15 lakh per box | Today’s news
Eli Lilly and Company India on Thursday announced the launch of its cancer drug Tanstrive in India.
The launch follows registration from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors with gene rearrangement during transfection (RET), the company said in a statement.
Tanstrive dosage and price
Tanstrive is available in India in tablet strengths of 40 mg, 80 mg, 120 mg and 160 mg; administered orally twice daily. Its price is at ₹2.15 lakh per box, which provides a 14-day treatment regimen, with the dosage administered twice daily, the company said.
It is designed to selectively target RET alterations and block abnormal signaling pathways that drive tumor growth.
As a twice-daily oral therapy, Tanstrive offers a targeted treatment approach for eligible patients whose cancer is caused by RET alterations, the company said.
“As precision oncology continues to reshape cancer care, Tanstrive represents an important step forward—expanding access to targeted therapies for patients in India,” said Eli Lilly and Company (India) President and CEO Winselow Tucker.
