Issuing land titles (pattas) will be the first target if elected to power in the Saidapet Assembly constituency, said Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate M. Arul Prakasam.
Mr. Prakasam, who is also one of the deputy general secretaries of the party, said that the pattas was a long pending demand of the residents and that if he took the lead, it would be handed over within 100 days to six months. He added that while other parties continue to promise land titles, they have not been handed over.
