The Thiruvadanai Assembly Constituency, often referred to as the ‘rice bowl of Ramanathapuram’, second only to Thanjavur, it faces critical infrastructure and resource issues.
Local farmers and residents have highlighted the continued need for more Direct Purchasing Centers (DPCs) to streamline the sale of their produce.
In addition, there is an urgent demand for a more consistent and comprehensive water supply to the Vaigai River to ensure the sustainability of the region’s agricultural productivity.
