Mylapore and Saidapet, two constituencies from south Chennai, saw the lowest voter turnout in the city, registering 74.89% and 77.84% respectively.
At a quarter to 7 am, voters started pouring into various polling centers in south Chennai, with senior citizens making a beeline. From anxious wheelchair-bound voters to excited first-time voters, polling centers in south Chennai witnessed a steady flow of voters till noon, after which the queues began to thin.
