
The speakers at the literary conference were carried out on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the Saint-Poet Tallapaka Annamacharya, emphasizing the essence of its composition on the LAG by interventions such as translation and simplification.
G. Damodar Naida, retired by University Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), spoke of “Annamayya – Sri Venkateswara Satakam” and Ravi Krishna Venko Palalo Viseshamshamulu “where they remembered Nuance in Annayy’s Compositions.
K. Suhasini, a high school teacher at the SVU Campus High School, pointed out that Annamacharya himself wrote many “sankeertans” in a simple Sanskrit so that people could easily understand them. During his conversation about “Annamaya’s Sankirtans-Music”, she remembered that Saint-Pet wrote about 80 compositions in Sanskrit. “Annamayya created literature by combining the essence of Saranagati, Lokanithi and Vedas. It has a special place in devoted literature,” she said.
