The anti -corruption office (ACB) on Thursday (October 9, 2025) arrested Guguloth Krishna, Tahsildar, Chityal of Nalgonda district for claim and accepting a bribe £ 2 Lakh via a private individual.
The bribe was required by the complainant to facilitate the mutation of agricultural land and submit a detailed report on the real estate survey in the village of Gundrampalli.
According to ACB, the bribe was collected by Gattu Ramesh, a private person acting on named Tahsildar, and the amount was obtained from its ownership.
Both Guguloth Krishna and Gattu Ramesh were arrested and made before ACB in Hyderabad. Further investigation of the case is underway.
The Office urged citizens to report any demand for bribes of government officials via the free number 1064 or via WhatsApp (9440446106), with the identity of the complainants to remain confidential.
