Shadley van Schalkwyk is a South African-born American cricketer known as an all-rounder. He was born on August 5, 1988 in Cape Town, South Africa. He bats left-handed and bowls right-arm medium fast for the USA National Team and the Los Angeles Knight Riders of Major League Cricket.Shadley van Schalkwyk made his first-class debut in 2008 for the Eagles against the Dolphins in the South African SuperSport series and made his T20 debut against the same opposition in 2009 in the Pro20 series. In the second half of 2020, Schalkwyk moved to the USA and played his first international T20 match for the USA on 7 April 2024 against Canada. He was part of the USA squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup and was also selected for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
