After winning the toss, Italy elected to bowl and quickly put pressure on the Nepalese batting.

Nepal struggled to gain momentum and were bowled out for just 123 runs in 19.3 overs. Together they put on an opening partnership of 124 runs and chased down the target in just 12.4 overs without losing a wicket.Their partnership broke a long-standing record and surpassed brothers Kamran and Umar Akmal’s previous best for Pakistan in the 2014 T20 World Cup.
