IAS officer T. Christuraj has been appointed as the managing director of Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (Tasmac) replacing S. Visakan. The Tamil Nadu government issued orders in this regard on Wednesday.
Mr. Visakan was appointed as Director of Technical Education. According to the GO, J. Innocent Divya would take over as Tourism Commissioner and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation.
The state government has also appointed D. Rathna as additional secretary in the housing and urban development department and also appointed S. Um as additional secretary in the health and family welfare department.
