
In an effort to popularize the concepts of sustainable development and self -confidence in rural areas, September 13 will be carried out in Pandavapur in Pandavapur, which will be attended by more than 40 national and international organizations.
Utsav, which is to be held at the Pandava stadium in the city, will present the vision of Mahatmy Gandhi on Swwai and is conceived as a platform that revises its importance in the present times through ideals of self -esteem, self -confidence and sustainable life.
The spread on 11 topics will combine exhibitions, demonstrations and interactive sessions of agriculture, health, education, technology, strengthening youth position, business and economic independence.
The MLA for Melukote Darshan Puttannaiah described Utsav as the beginning of the Swwaj movement and not as a one -time and one -day event.
“India is a country of villages and the progress of villages is the progress of a nation. Holistic development of villages is a real swaraji nation,” he added. More than 50 stalls will be set up to create awareness, provide information and offer practical experience to visitors.
Mr. Puttannannaiah said that this event aims to lead people to accept a separate lifestyle by using local resources and at the same time support sustainable agriculture, mixed crop systems, natural agriculture, local industries, strengthening women’s position and ecological living life. “Even in the middle of a changing lifestyle in Utsav villages will show ways to build a separate life,” he added.
In addition to agriculture and living, UTSAV will emphasize, according to social dimension organizers, such as strengthening women’s position, community health and environmental awareness. Visitors can expect to see practical models, meet local organizations and engage in interviews to maintain rural life.
Together with the main themes of Utsav, the historical, cultural and religious heritage of Melukote will also be emphasized to support tourism.
