The first round of Swachh Survekshan 2024 (SS -2024), which includes a survey of the quotient of Mysuru purity – and whose result will determine the national evaluation of the city on the parameter of purity – was completed on Saturday with a focus on fixed waste management.
Sources in City Corporation (MCC) reported that two officials from the center were camping in the city for three days and analyzing records and documents on waste production, waste management and recycling. There were also several visits to the spots after which the exercise ended.
There are two more visits in the shocks, which determines how Mysur is doing well with water and hygiene and whether it was without waste.
KS Mruthyunjaya, auxiliary executive engineer, MCC and Nodal Officer for Swachh Survekshan (SS-2024), said officials also accidentally visited different parts of the city to get acquainted with solid waste and look for public feedback. The first round of the inspection and inspection carries 10,000 stamps from 12,500 stamps, which are set aside for the SS-2024, added.

The MCC also resorted to imposing fines on people who cast the streets and threw out the garbage, as a result of the city was black places. “Our efforts will pay dividends and we are sure we will regenerate Mysurur’s position among the highest cities,” said Mr. Mruthyunjaya.
The Ministry of Housing and urban affairs, which is conducted by the survey, also gave the distribution of 10,000 stamps on 54 indicators and 166 sub-indicators, according to which the cleanliness of 1,500 stamps will be visible. Segregation, collection and transport of waste transmit 1,000 stamps, while 1,000 brands were earmarked for fixed waste management.
Access to hygiene used by water management, strengthening ecosystems and institutional parameters will have every 1,000 stamps, while the defense for Swachhat has been earmarked 1,500 stamps. The overall well -being of hygiene workers, the feedback of citizens and the mechanization of desludging services have every maximum of 500 points.
The first Swachh Survekshan was carried out in 2016, in which 73 cities were evaluated and Mysur was first in the country. In subsequent surveys, however, the number of city local authorities that were examined, increased and up to 4,477 cities were evaluated in 2023 survey.
