The call to integrate sustainability into the healthcare sector took center stage at the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) graduation ceremony where 150 MBBS students received their degrees on Thursday.
In a keynote address, Raj Narayan Tiwari, Director, Indian Council of Medical Research, National Institute for Environmental Health Research, Bhopal, emphasized that healthcare must adopt sustainable practices in response to rising global temperatures and ecological degradation affecting public health.
