Hyderabad, a suspicious case of food poisoning at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) Erragadd, left one patient dead and 70 other disabled, according to officials who follow the situation on the spot. The incident, which began to develop on Monday morning, caused a medical reaction to full and ongoing investigation.

One patient died on Monday around 5.30 in the morning and the remaining cases were reported throughout the day and until 4 pm on Tuesday. No new cases have been reported since then. According to officials, all patients are currently stable and under active monitoring.
Officials suspect that the disease can be associated with contaminated water, because more than a dozen water samples, a total of 12 to 13, were collected from different points in the testing facility. “We expect more clarity in the next 24 hours,” said the district collector.
The facility includes a team of doctors from Osmania General Hospital (OGH), supported by two ambulance ambulances. The 24 -hour medical team was deployed to carefully monitor the vitality of patients, and in the event of any deterioration, an immediate transfer was introduced. “Patients requiring additional medical care are moved to the OGH. At 21:00, three individuals have been transferred, not because they are critical, but because they needed closer monitoring and care,” said Ogh Superintendent Rrakesh Sahay. Efforts to achieve a superintendent hospital and the director of medical education through calls and reports have not received any answer.
