
A special group of Assistant Perumbavoora and the Police of Thadiyittapapapaplem arrested two people allegedly five kilograms of Ganja.
They were arrested as Rabin Mandal, 24, and Ashis Sarkar (32) from Murshidabad in West Bengal. The arrest was led by a tip received by the Chief of the District Police (Ernakulam Rural) M. Hemalath.
The police captured Ashis while he allegedly handed over suspected Ganja near Aluva NDA. Previously, the police arrested Rabina, aka Robin Bhai, with 9.50 kilograms of Ganja from the Bengal colony in March. He was released from prison only once and a half months ago.
Since then he has been supervised by the information that he returned to business in Ganja. His clients were both young and migrant workers.
More than 2 grams ‘MDMA’
In another case, two people were reportedly arrested with Ganja and MDMA from the apartment in Thammanam. S. Hemanth, 21, from Punalur, was arrested 1.39 kilograms of suspicious Ganja. Akshay Reji, 21, Wayanad, was arrested by 2.21 grams of suspicious MDMA and 99.20 grams of suspect Ganja. The air raid was carried out by anti-barrothy special Action Force and Palaraivattom Police.
