Indian Captain T20i and Star Batter Suryakumar Yadav flew to London to consult an expert in injury to sports hernia that has been bothering him for some time. A 34 -year -old man is expected to undergo further evaluation to determine whether surgery is required.
After a challenging three-month section of a continuous cricket-including the strong IPL 2025 campaign with Indians in Mumbai and Stint in the League in the Mumbai T20-Nice Suryakumar uses a break in the Indian International Calendar to focus on its recovery.
“Surya suffers from a sports keel on the right side of the lower abdomen. He went to the UK for a consultation. He will go under the knife if necessary,” said a source of a close cricket PTI.
“Without cricket T20 before August to September, Surya thought it was the best time to tend to injure and also has enough time to recover at the Excellence Center in Bengalur,” said the Council of Control in India (BCCI).
Currently, The Indian test team is in England Preparing for their series of five matches against England, which starts on June 20 in Headingley. However, Suryakumar is not part of the red ball settings, which gives it a rare opportunity to solve its fitness without pressure for immediate selection.
The right -hander had another fertile IPL season, gathered 700 runs for Mi and followed it with a performance in the home accessories T20.
Another Indian T20i task is scheduled for August in Bangladesh, giving Suryakumar an adequate recovery time. However, if surgery is considered necessary, the recovery process could potentially postpone its return to the action.
